Dr. Wajid Burad Fonz earned his Medical Degree from the Universidad del Mayab, Mérida (1998–2003), completing his internship at IMSS Regional General Hospital #12 and medical social service at Cancún General Hospital. He then pursued a three-year Sports Medicine Residency at UADY (2005–2008), graduating with the highest GPA of his class.
He later completed an Advanced Fellowship in Diagnostic and Interventional Musculoskeletal Ultrasound at CUMDA/UADY (2020) — cementing his reputation as one of Mexico's leading ultrasound-guided interventional specialists. His clinical practice, Olympia Medicina Integral del Deporte, has been active in Cancún since 2008, treating elite athletes and complex musculoskeletal conditions.
